About
Born and raised in the suburbs of Colorado Springs, folk music wasn't necessarily something that existed in abundance. Playing drums in a cover band through high school was the extent of their musical journey until around 2016, where they began to release instrumentals under a plurality of pseudonyms.
2018 saw the release of Less Blue; a lo-fi, country-adjacent song that was far and away from the sample based music they released up until that point. It was met with over 60,000 streams on Soundcloud, and was followed by the 3 EP, which has amassed over 100,000 streams across platforms. Most recently, Annapurna and Housesitting showcase Bryse's strongest assets in a way that was not apparent on previous projects: captivating finger style arrangements and timeless lyricism.
On the horizon is Bryse Taylor's debut LP 1,000 pretty things, which is slated to release later this year.
